Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and University Hospitals Case Medical Center, through the CWRU CME Program, will support the life-long learning of physicians and other health professionals. The CME Program will help learners identify gaps in their professional practices related to recent research findings, the release of new clinical practice guidelines, and/or the identification of opportunities for improvement and by developing, delivering and assessing high quality post-graduate education activities that are designed to address these gaps. The result will be a program of CME activities that advances their confidence and competence, enhances their practice performance and where possible, improves clinical outcomes.

Full Range of Services

The CME Program provides a full range of services for planning and producing CME activities. Services include sponsorship of grand rounds, series, live conferences, seminars, workshops and a variety of self-study vehicles ("enduring materials") such as monographs, CD ROMs, audio/video tapes and courses accessed over the Internet. More than 100 CME activities are produced annually offering over 500 hours of instruction to more than 20,000 participants.
